DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Sales Development Manager to join our growing team. The Business Sales Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the small to medium-sized business segment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales and business development in Telematics or the fleet management industry with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New Business Development: Identify and target small to medium-sized businesses as potential clients for our fleet management services.

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our SMB customer base.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.

  • Needs Assessment:  Conduct thorough needs assessments and identify opportunities to provide customized fleet management solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

  • Solution Selling: Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor solutions that address their unique challenges. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our fleet management services.

  • Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support in delivering exceptional service to SMB clients.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.

  • Achievement of Targets: Monitor and track sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to evaluate progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, demonstrating a commitment to driving results and achieving business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Telematics or in the fleet management industry, with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. 

  • Strong understanding of sales principles, industry trends, and best practices. 

  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner. 

  • Collaborative mindset with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues at all levels of the organization. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs. 

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce).
